What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body. Reflexologists work holistically with their clients and aim to work alongside their medical treatment to promote better health for their clients.

A form of reflexology has been known in Egypt and Asia for over 5000 years for its balancing and healing properties, only in the last century it was developed in the Western World by Dr. W. Fitzgerald and Eunice Ingham.

Reflexology is a zone treatment of the body which is mapped out on feet and hands. By pressing and gentle circling those reflex points tension and blockages in the body are released.

It also relaxes muscles and revives the Energy of the body, which gives a feeling of well-being. The client’s own natural healing process gets stimulated and toxins released with this gentle method.

Energy can flow, and body, mind and spirit are in balance. This is a very relaxing therapeutic method, felt on both physical and emotional level. With this method only Feet or Hands need to be touched.
